T1 TMC TRAFFIC PACK Navman

Please note: the Navman unit is not included, this is a Traffic Pack which is an addition to the New Navman iCN series 530, 720, 750.

You might know your way thanks to your Navman iCN but traffic congestion could still slow you down. Navman has therefore developed the T1 Traffic Pack in order to help you avoid traffic incidents. It receives live traffic reports and offers you options to re-route.

How does it work?

The Traffic Message Channel (TMC) broadcasts real-time traffic and weather information via the FM Radio Data System (RDS). FM radio stations transmit traffic information updates on a regular cycle, particularly around rush hours, with up to hundreds of events broadcasted to TMC receivers. Your T1 will decode these events and send them to your iCN, which will then display the various events and give you options on how to avoid traffic congestion.
