The Mio C710 provides seamless navigation through 24 European countries, with the latest maps from Tele Atlas pre-installed on internal flash memory.
With the C710, door-to-door journey planning throughout Europe is made effortless. Now you can travel to Barcelona, Paris, London or Rome without the need to stop off and key in a new stage of your journey. Just enter the address of your destination and the C710 guides you directly there.
You can choose between 16 different languages: Czech, Danish, Dutch, UK English, US English, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish are all available - and you can even choose the voice you prefer for audio directions.

Safety camera warnings, free updates for one year
For your safety, the C710 also tells you the likely locations of fixed safety cameras (speed cameras) and the likely locations of mobile traps, with free updates for a full year from the time you register. You can choose between visual and/or audio signal to warn you.
You can download new safety camera (speed camera) locations from the moment you register on our website. Once you've registered, you will download updates from the Mio Technology database for free for one year.
You can also indicate new safety camera (speed camera) locations on your device, and upload them to the database. You can even determine the direction of the safety camera.
POI Search
POI-search by name. Just simply start typing the name of your restaurant, hotel, shop… and immediately see all possibilities. Even if you don™t know the exact location. Or you can just look for a POI in the easy to use categories.
The C710 is programmed with an extensive range of Points Of Interest (POI), arranged into easy to use categories such as restaurants, hotels, petrol stations, cash machines, parking, shops etc.
Many of the POIs now include phone numbers. So now you can find the location of a good restaurant or hotel and phone ahead to make a reservation.
The C710 makes it easy to quickly look up POI™s close to your current location or those situated along your chosen route.
Hands-free calling with Bluetooth
Use the C710 for hands-free calling when combined with a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone.
Together with a Bluetooth™ mobile phone*, the C710 allows you to keep your hands safely on the wheel whenever you™re on the phone. It automatically switches from navigation to phone mode every time you receive a call.
TMC
With a unique built-in Traffic Message Channel (TMC) antenna, the C710 is able to receive information about delays on your route - and take you around them.
Equipped with a built-in TMC-receiver, the C710 receives the latest information on everything from road works to accidents and traffic jams. In the event of any hold up ahead, you can choose to continue or to go around them, in which case the C710 will recalculate your route. And the good news is the TMC-receiver is already built in, so you only have to connect the antenna.
TMC is available as a free service throughout Europe,
Connect a TMC (Traffic Message Channel) antenna to your Mio navigation device and you can receive up-to-the-minute road information throughout Europe.It is free to use, with no subscription and no limit to using the service.
HOW IT WORKS
Radio stations in every European country* now transmit a specially encoded TMC signal containing real-time traffic information.
Your Mio device receives every TMC message and automatically filters them to show those messages relevant to your chosen route. If an incident on your route is reported, you will receive it directly to your Mio device within 30 seconds of broadcast. You can then choose to either carry on regardless of the obstruction ahead, or let your Mio calculate a new route.
The Benefits of TMC
Virtually immediate warning of any accidents, road works and traffic jams that lay ahead. Information is filtered only for your route. TMC works throughout Europe - and the messages are always shown in your own language. In some countries, the TMC signal will also provide you with the locations of mobile speed cameras. TMC NOTE: Please be aware that you can only receive free broadcasted TMC information. Limited free TMC information is available in Great Britain, and is being improved on a regular basis. By adding a
TMC antenna, your Mio device can receive and decode the
TMC signal and turn it into
relevant traffic information.The message is delivered to you either on screen or as a voice message.
