For your safety, MioMaps preloaded camera warning database also tells you the likely locations of fixed safety cameras (speed cameras) and the likely locations of mobile traps, with free updates for a full year from the time you register. You can choose between visual and/or audio signal to warn you.
You can download new safety camera (speed camera) locations from the moment you register on our website. Once you've registered, you will download updates from the Mio Technology database for free for one year.
You can also indicate new safety camera (speed camera) locations on your device, and upload them to the database. You can even determine the direction of the safety camera.
POI Search
POI-search by name. Just simply start typing the name of your restaurant, hotel, shop… and immediately see all possibilities. Even if you don™t know the exact location. Or you can just look for a POI in the easy to use categories.
CleverMap
The CleverMap function provides the option to easily compile personal map data. The exact house number map data for 27 European countries is supplied on DVD and available for immediate use.
SpeedInfo
For the first time, SpeedInfo registers the exceeding of permitted speed limits with a visual and acoustic warning.
RoadInfo
